Oh yeah, Bratz are definitely gone. Mattel sued MGA (the Bratz company) because the Bratz creator was actually employed by Mattel when he imagined his unholy spawn.
MGA has come up with replacement dolls, though -- Moxie Girlz. Not quite as slutty, but probably just as evil.
