At the end of today I start a very well-deserved, highly anticipated 10 days off. I can't begin to describe how happy I am.

I'm awfully fond of you

I don't think I'd describe myself as "sweet and sensitive," exactly — "impatient and oversensitive" maybe. But the rest of the description seems to fit me ok.

Don't spam me, bro

Over on my other blog spammers leave comments on old posts all the time. I think they're hoping they can just sneak their spammy links in and I won't notice.
They don't even seem to clue in to the fact that I have moderation turned on, so there's no way in hell their garbage is ever gonna get published on my blog.
I do, however, occasionally get a laugh from some of the bizarre comments. Here are two hilariously spamtastic ones that were left yesterday:
katty has left a new comment on your post "15 humorous Thanksgiving quotes":
I love when my husband and i pass time together specially when we are with all the family celebrating the thanksgiving. Is sure this year we´ll be happy all of us together and enjoying. But i am thankful because my husband buy viagra and he has more self-steem.I am really happy.
katty has left a new comment on your post "25 clever costume ideas for Halloween":
I really like halloween, the party and i love to go out with my litle girl, she really enjoy to ask in every house for a candy. In the night the party is only between my husband and i, usually i buy viagra and my husban is a real machine.

I'm sorry I haven't been giving you the attention you deserve lately. I've been busy elsewhere and I know this poor little blog has suffered because of it. I miss you and I'll be back soon, I promise.

I'm always the last to know

How is it that I discover the quirky Dear Lindsay Lohan on the exact day she's released from jail, putting an end to the Dear Lindsay postcards?

Bon appetit
Husband usually packs my lunch in the morning while I’m getting ready for work (he’s the awesomest husband EVER). This morning he asked if I wanted a fruit cup in my lunch. I nodded and replied, "Don't forget to give me a spoon."
At noon I opened my lunch bag to discover that he had, indeed, given me a spoon.
… But no fruit cup.
I guess I didn’t nod loudly enough.
