Generally when Child announces there's going to be a potluck lunch at school, we rush out and buy a tray of deli sandwiches for her to take. Or a package of frozen meatballs to heat up. Yeah, we're awesome parents that way.
This time, though, we decided to get creative, and the night before the potluck, Husband, Child and I turned a few dozen Babybel cheeses into adorable ladybugs.*
Child says they were a huge hit with her 8th grade class!

Super, super cute! What are the legs?
The legs are toothpicks, although looking at them now I wish we had used pretzel sticks. Do they make pretzel sticks that skinny I wonder?
